Machias Privateer Saves Social Security
Machias Privateer makes an amusing tongue-in-cheek proposal to End Mortgage Deduction - Save Social Security and bring the Bushies and AARP together in a common cause. It's brief and provides a quick chuckle by pointing out how the elderly, the boomers, and the gen-X'ers all benefit!
Then again, maybe it's really a neat way of showing how linking tax reform and social security reform could be a good idea. In that case, it might bring the Bushies closer together with Rep. Thomas(R) and his House Committee that will write the legislation for both efforts.
